    How the extractor works

Type or paste text into the box, pick what to find, and the tool scans with tuned regular expressions. Matches appear as a clickable list with a live count, and an optional de-duplication toggle keeps only unique values. Everything runs locally in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.

    What you can extract

Eight extractors cover the common cases: email addresses, http/https URLs, international phone numbers, #hashtags, @mentions, IPv4 addresses, CSS hex colors (#fff, #ff00aa) and plain numbers including decimals and negatives. Click any result to copy it, or use Copy all to grab the whole list.

    Text Extractor FAQs

Is my text sent to a server?
No. Extraction runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript regular expressions. Nothing is uploaded or stored.
Why was a phone number not detected?
The phone pattern needs at least 7 digits and typical separators (spaces, dashes, parentheses, optional leading +). Very short digit strings are skipped to avoid false positives.
    How does duplicate removal work?
When Remove duplicates is checked, each unique match appears once, in the order it was first found. Uncheck it to see every occurrence.
Can I extract from a very long document?
Yes. Results are capped at 5,000 matches to keep the page responsive, which is plenty for most documents.
What counts as a valid IP address?
IPv4 dotted quads where every octet is 0-255, for example 192.168.1.1. Out-of-range quads like 999.1.1.1 are filtered out.
