How email detection works

The tool scans for the standard email pattern: a local part of letters, digits, and symbols like dots and plus signs, an @ sign, and a domain with a valid extension. Matches are listed in the order they appear in your text.

Dedupe and sort options

Enable Remove duplicates to collapse repeated addresses to one entry, useful for mailing lists. Enable Sort results to alphabetize the output for tidy exports and comparisons.

Extract Emails FAQs

What email formats are detected?
Standard formats like name@example.com, first.last@company.co, and tagged addresses like user+tag@mail.org. The domain must end with a valid-looking extension of at least two letters.
How do I remove duplicate addresses?
Tick Remove duplicates before extracting. Matching is case-insensitive, so Admin@x.com and admin@x.com count as one address.
Can I extract emails from a whole document?
Yes. Paste the entire document; the scanner reads all of it and lists every address found, one per line for easy copying into a spreadsheet.
Does it validate that the emails are real?
No. It detects correctly formatted addresses but cannot check whether an inbox exists. Use it for collection, not verification.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing you paste ever leaves your device.
