Which hex formats are detected?
Three-digit (#fff), six-digit (#ff5733), and eight-digit with alpha (#ff5733aa). Uppercase and lowercase hex digits both match.
Does it match #12345?
No. Five-digit sequences are not valid hex colors, so the boundary check rejects partial matches inside longer digit runs.
Can I audit a stylesheet's palette?

Does it find rgb() colors?
