Checklists that track themselves

Add tasks one by one, tick them off as you finish, and the progress bar shows exactly where you stand. Completed tasks are struck through but stay visible until you clear them, so nothing vanishes mysteriously. Your list auto-saves in the browser, surviving refreshes and reopened tabs.

Sharing and exporting

Copy the list as Markdown to paste into GitHub, Notion, Slack or any docs tool, with checkboxes preserved. The print button produces a clean paper copy for clipboards and kickoff meetings. Because saving is local, each device keeps its own lists.

Task Checklist Maker FAQs

Where is my checklist saved?
In your browser's local storage on this device. It survives refreshes and restarts, but it is not synced to other devices or backed up online.
Can I share my checklist with someone?
Use Copy as Markdown to paste it into any chat, email or docs app. The recipient gets the full list with checkbox states.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
Local storage is wiped with it, so export important lists as Markdown first if you plan to clear site data.
Is there a limit on tasks?
No practical limit. Hundreds of tasks work fine, though very long lists are easier to manage split across multiple lists.
Do I need an account?
No. Everything works anonymously with no sign-up, and nothing is sent to any server.
