How it works

Pick a start date and enter how many working days the project needs. The tool counts forward, skipping Saturdays and Sundays when the weekend option is on, and gives you the exact end date plus a day-by-day schedule you can share with your team or client.

Planning with it

Use it to set realistic deadlines: a "20-day project" starting on a Monday ends four weeks later, not 20 calendar days later. For longer projects the schedule view collapses to the first and last 10 days so the page stays readable.

Timeline Calculator FAQs

Does it count the start date as day 1?
Yes. The start date counts as working day 1, and the end date is the day the final working day lands on.
Can I include weekends?
Yes. Untick the Skip weekends box and every calendar day counts, including Saturday and Sunday.
Does it handle public holidays?
No. Holidays vary by country, so add extra days manually for any holidays in your period.
How many days can I plan?
Up to 1,000 working days, roughly four years. Longer schedules collapse to the first and last 10 days for readability.
Is this free to use?
Yes, completely free with no sign-up, running entirely in your browser.
