Between two times

Enter a start and end (date plus time) to get the exact span broken into days, hours, minutes and seconds, with decimal-hour and total-minute equivalents. Crossing midnight is fine: just put the end on the next day.

Adding up durations

Paste one duration per line in any common shape: 2h 30m, 90m, 1:15 or 45 seconds. Lines it cannot parse are counted and skipped, so a typo never silently corrupts the total.

What formats does the sum mode accept?
2h 30m, 90m, 1.5h, 45s, 1:15 (h:mm), 1:15:30 (h:mm:ss) and day units like 2d. Mix them freely.
Can the end be before the start?
Yes. You get the absolute duration with a note that the order was reversed.
Does it handle time zones?
Both inputs are read in your browser's local time zone, so the difference is the wall-clock span you expect.
Why use decimal hours?
Billing and payroll often need them: 2h 30m is 2.5 hours. The total-hours line gives exactly that.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Everything is computed locally in your browser.
