Rotating patterns made simple

Many jobs run on repeating cycles like 4 on / 4 off or 5 on / 2 off. Enter your cycle once and the tool projects every work and rest day forward, so you can see at a glance which dates you are on shift.

Total hours and the weekly average help with payroll estimates and checking that a pattern stays within legal working-time limits.

Reading the schedule

Each row shows the date, weekday, and whether it is a work or off day, with the shift length on work days. The pattern repeats from your start date, so setting the correct first day of the cycle matters.

Shift Planner FAQs

What shift patterns are supported?
Any repeating work/off cycle from 1 to 30 days each, for example 4 on 4 off, 5 on 2 off, or 6 on 3 off, with any shift length up to 24 hours.
How do I handle night shifts?
The tool tracks days, not clock times. A night shift still counts as a work day on the date the rotation assigns it.
Can it handle irregular or swapped shifts?
No. It projects a fixed repeating pattern. One-off swaps need to be tracked separately.
Why does the weekly average matter?
Labor rules often limit average weekly hours over a reference period. The average helps you check a pattern stays compliant.
Is my schedule saved anywhere?
No. The schedule is generated on the fly and nothing is stored or sent anywhere.
