How splitting works

You describe which pages go together using ranges like 1-3, 5, 8-10, and the tool copies exactly those pages into brand-new PDF files, one per group. Alternatively, ticking the per-page box explodes the whole document into single-page PDFs. The original page order, size and content are preserved in every output.

Privacy by design

PDFs often contain contracts, statements or personal records, so this splitter never uploads your file. The splitting is done with a PDF library running inside your browser, and the download links point to files generated on your own device.

PDF Splitter FAQs

How do I write page ranges?
Use numbers and dashes separated by commas, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10. That makes three files: pages 1 to 3, page 5 alone, and pages 8 to 10.
Can I split a PDF into single pages?
Yes. Tick the one-file-per-page box and every page becomes its own PDF download.
Is there a page or size limit?
No artificial limit, but very large PDFs are processed on your device, so splitting a thousand-page file can take a while and use significant memory.
Does splitting change the content?
No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, including text, images and layout. Only which pages land in each file changes.
Is my PDF sent to a server?
Never. The file is loaded, split and re-saved entirely in your browser.
