How rotation works

The tool rewrites each selected page's /Rotate entry by adding 90°, 180° or 270° to its current rotation. This is a metadata change, so the page content is not re-rendered and quality stays identical. Existing rotation is respected: a page already rotated 90° plus another 90° becomes 180°.

Rotating only some pages

Use the page field to target the pages that need fixing, for example 2,4-6. Leave it blank to rotate the whole document. This is ideal for scanned bundles where only a few pages came out sideways.

PDF Page Rotator FAQs

Does rotating lower the PDF quality?
No. Rotation only changes the page's rotation value; text and images are untouched, so quality is identical to the original.
Can I rotate pages counter-clockwise?
Yes. Choose 270° clockwise, which is the same as 90° counter-clockwise.
The page was already rotated. What happens?
The new rotation is added to the existing one. Rotating a 90° page by 90° gives 180°.
Why do some pages look unchanged in my viewer?
A few viewers cache the old rotation. Reopen the downloaded file or refresh the viewer to see the change.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The whole rotation happens in your browser; your file never leaves your device.
