How the conversion works

Paste your HTML into the editor (or upload an .html file) and a live preview renders instantly on the right. When you press the print button, your browser's own print engine takes over: choose Save as PDF as the destination and you get a PDF of your markup.

Because the browser renders the page, your CSS, inline styles, images referenced by URL and web fonts all carry over into the PDF. Nothing is uploaded to a server at any point.

Tips for a clean PDF

In the print dialog, set margins to taste and tick Background graphics if your design relies on background colors. For multi-page documents, use CSS like page-break-before to control where pages split.

Tip: keep the HTML self-contained (inline styles, absolute image URLs) for the most predictable result across browsers.

HTML to PDF Converter FAQs

Do I need to install anything to convert HTML to PDF?
No. The conversion uses your browser's built-in print-to-PDF engine, which exists in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. Paste HTML, preview, print, done.
Is my HTML uploaded to a server?
Never. The preview renders in an iframe on the page and printing happens locally in your browser. Your code never leaves your device.
Will my CSS styles be preserved in the PDF?
Yes, the browser renders your styles exactly as the preview shows. For best results use inline styles or a style block in the pasted HTML, and tick Background graphics in the print dialog if you use background colors.
Can I convert a live website URL with this tool?
Not directly: browsers block fetching other sites' pages from this page. Save the page first (right-click, Save as, Webpage HTML only), then upload the saved file here.
The PDF looks different from the preview. Why?
Print stylesheets and print settings (margins, scale, headers) can shift the layout. Try adjusting the scale in the print dialog or add a print stylesheet to your HTML to lock the layout down.
