How it works
Type a date in any common format (2026-10-19, 19/10/2026, Oct 19 2026) and the tool parses it, then shows it in your chosen output format. Presets cover ISO, US, European and long written forms, and a custom pattern box accepts tokens like YYYY, MM, DD, MMMM and dddd so you can build any layout you need. Ambiguous dates
For inputs like 03/04/2026 the tool assumes month/day/year (US order) when the first number is 12 or less, and day/month/year when it is above 12. To avoid ambiguity entirely, use the ISO format YYYY-MM-DD, which is always parsed correctly.

How do custom patterns work?
Use tokens: YYYY (year), MM (month), DD (day), MMMM (month name), ddd/dddd (weekday). For example, DD.MM.YYYY gives 19.10.2026.
Why did 03/04/2026 become March 4th?
Ambiguous numeric dates default to US month/day order when the first number is 12 or less. Type 2026-04-03 if you mean 3 April.
