How the circle crop works

Your photo is drawn on a square canvas and clipped to a perfect circle path. Dragging moves the photo under the circle, and the download renders the same crop at up to 1024 px. Choose transparent background for a floating avatar, or white or dark to match your profile theme.

Best source photos

Square or landscape photos work best, since the circle uses the center region. Faces near the center need the least dragging. The tool starts zoomed to cover the circle, or press Fit whole photo to show everything with letterboxing.

What size should my profile picture be?

Which photo shapes work best?
