Three ways to size

Fit inside max dimension shrinks images so the longest side equals your value, keeping the aspect ratio. Exact width x height stretches every image to the same pixel size. Scale percent multiplies each image's own size, for example 50% halves it. Aspect ratio is preserved in every mode except exact size.

Private by design

Everything runs on the canvas element in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded to any server, so you can resize sensitive or client work safely. Output quality for JPEG and WebP uses 92% quality, a good balance of size and sharpness.

Bulk Image Resizer FAQs

How many images can I resize at once?
There is no hard cap, but browsers handle 20 to 50 photos comfortably. Very large batches of high-resolution photos may take a minute and use more memory.
Will resizing change my aspect ratio?
No, except in exact width x height mode which stretches. Max dimension and scale percent always preserve the original aspect ratio.
Which output format should I pick?
Keep original format to stay closest to your source. JPEG is smallest for photos, PNG keeps transparency and crisp edges, WebP is the modern small-file choice.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. All resizing happens locally with the HTML canvas API. Your files never leave your device.
What is a good max dimension for the web?
1920 px is plenty for full-screen photos, 1080 px suits social feeds, and 800 px works for thumbnails. Smaller files load faster on mobile connections.
