Convert then compress

Each image is redrawn on a canvas at your target size and exported in the chosen format, then packed into a ZIP with JSZip. Converting PNG screenshots to JPEG at 85% quality often cuts file size by 80% with no visible difference.

Smart resizing

The max dimension applies to the longest side only, so aspect ratios stay intact. 1600 px is a sweet spot for sharing: sharp on screens, small in bytes. Set 0 to convert formats without resizing.

Batch Image to ZIP FAQs

Why convert to WebP?
WebP files are typically 25 to 35% smaller than JPEG at the same visual quality, and all modern browsers and phones display them.
Will transparency survive conversion?
Only if you choose PNG or WebP. JPEG has no alpha channel, so transparent areas become black; convert logos to PNG instead.
How many images can I process?
Dozens work fine on desktop. Each image is processed sequentially to keep memory usage low.
What quality setting is best?
85% is the sweet spot for photos. Below 70% shows artifacts; above 92% wastes bytes for little visible gain.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Conversion and zipping happen entirely in your browser.
