What is the difference between the split modes?
Characters cuts at an exact character count, words keeps whole words together in groups of N words, and lines groups N lines per chunk. Pick the unit that matches the limit you are working around.
Can a chunk break in the middle of a word?
Only in character mode, which cuts exactly at the count you set. Word and line modes never break a word or a line apart.
How do I save all chunks at once?
Use the Download all button to get a single .txt file with every chunk separated by a labeled header.
Is there a size limit on the input?
No artificial limit. Splitting runs in your browser, so even very long documents process quickly.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens locally on your device.
