What gets removed

Every Unicode letter from any alphabet is deleted: Latin, Cyrillic, Arabic, CJK characters, and accented letters. Digits, punctuation, whitespace, and emoji stay exactly where they are.

Practical uses

Useful for isolating the numeric and symbolic skeleton of text: pulling the digit structure out of product codes, or checking what non-letter characters a string contains.

Remove Letters FAQs

What remains after removing letters?
Digits, punctuation, spaces, line breaks, and symbols remain. For example, Order 42-A! becomes 42-!.
Does it remove accented letters too?
Yes. Accented characters are letters in Unicode, so e, u, and n are all removed along with plain ASCII letters.
Does it remove Chinese or Arabic characters?
Yes. All scripts count as letters, so CJK, Arabic, Cyrillic, and every other alphabet are stripped.
Why would I remove letters from text?
To isolate numbers and symbols, for example extracting the numeric pattern from serial numbers, or auditing which special characters appear in a dataset.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing you paste ever leaves your device.
