How it works

Every line of your input gets the prefix glued to its start and the suffix glued to its end, instantly as you type. Turn on Skip empty lines to leave blank lines untouched, which keeps paragraph spacing intact. The result is ready to copy into code editors, spreadsheets or HTML.

Can I add only a prefix without a suffix?
Yes. Leave the suffix box empty and only the prefix is applied, and vice versa. Both fields are optional.
What happens to blank lines?
With Skip empty lines on (the default), blank lines pass through unchanged. Turn it off to prefix and suffix every line including empty ones.
Is there a line limit?
No hard limit. Tens of thousands of lines process instantly since everything runs as plain JavaScript in your browser.
Can I use special characters in the prefix?
Absolutely. Quotes, angle brackets, tabs, emoji and unicode all work; the tool concatenates your exact text with each line.
Does it modify my original text?
No. Your input stays in the left box untouched and the transformed version appears on the right, so you can tweak the affixes and re-copy freely.
