JSON to Java POJO

Generate classic Java POJOs from JSON with private fields, getters, and setters. Nested objects become static inner classes with Jackson ready types.

JSON input

Paste JSON, optionally name the root type, then generate.

Boilerplate you do not have to write

A hand written POJO for a nested API response means dozens of getters and setters. The generator produces the full class, including static inner classes for nested objects and List fields for arrays, in one click.

Built for Jackson and Gson

The output follows the conventions both major JSON libraries expect: a no-arg constructor shape, private fields, and public accessors. Drop the classes into your project and deserialize immediately.

JSON to Java POJO FAQs

What is a POJO?
A Plain Old Java Object is a simple class with private fields plus getters and setters and no framework base class. Libraries like Jackson and Gson populate them via reflection.
How are nested objects handled?
Each nested object becomes a public static inner class, so Address lives inside the parent class. Jackson deserializes this structure with no extra configuration.
Why wrapper types like Integer instead of int?
Fields that can be null use wrapper types (Integer, Double, Boolean) because primitives cannot hold null. Always present numbers still use primitives.
How are JSON arrays mapped?
Arrays become List<T> with T inferred from the elements, using java.util.List and ArrayList friendly types that Jackson fills automatically.
Can I use this with Jackson?
Yes. The field names match the JSON keys, so new ObjectMapper().readValue(json, Root.class) works out of the box for standard payloads.
