Why structured data matters

JSON-LD tells search engines exactly what your page is about: which text is a product price, which block is an FAQ, when an event happens. Pages with valid structured data can earn rich results like star ratings, FAQ dropdowns and event cards, which stand out in search and attract more clicks.

How to use the snippet

Pick a schema type, fill in the fields you know, and press Generate. Copy the snippet into the <head> section of the matching page, then validate it with Google's Rich Results Test. Empty fields are left out automatically, so only provide information that is visible on the page itself.

JSON-LD Generator FAQs

Where do I paste the JSON-LD snippet?
Inside the <head> section of the page the data describes. Each page should carry markup matching its own visible content.
Which schema type should I choose?
Match the page's main topic: Article for blog posts, Product for product pages, FAQPage for FAQ sections, LocalBusiness for store pages, Event for event listings.
Do I need to fill in every field?
No. Empty fields are omitted from the output. Fill in what you can, prioritizing name, description and the type-specific essentials like price or dates.
Will this guarantee rich results in Google?
No. Valid markup makes your page eligible, but Google decides whether to show rich results. Validate with the Rich Results Test to catch errors first.
Can I put multiple schema types on one page?
Yes. Generate one snippet per type and include them as separate script blocks, or combine them into a @graph array if you are comfortable editing JSON.
