How it works

Your image is drawn on a canvas and your text is stamped over it with the chosen size, color and opacity. Pick a corner or center position, or tiled to repeat the mark across the whole image, which is much harder to crop out.

Font size scales automatically with image resolution so the mark looks the same on small and large photos.

Watermarking tips

Semi-transparent white at 40 to 60% opacity reads well on most photos. Corner marks are subtle; tiled marks protect better but distract more. Never watermark over the main subject's face.

Download as PNG for maximum quality or JPEG for smaller files. Everything is processed locally, so your photos stay private.

Is my photo uploaded?
No. The watermark is drawn on a canvas in your browser and the download is generated locally. Your image never leaves your device.
Which position protects best?
Tiled across the image. A single corner mark can be cropped out in seconds; a repeating semi-transparent pattern cannot be removed without ruining the photo.
What opacity should I use?
40 to 60% is the sweet spot: visible enough to claim ownership, transparent enough not to wreck the photo. Go higher only for proof images.
Can I use my logo instead of text?
This tool does text watermarks only. For logo watermarks you would need an image-overlay tool; text with your brand name works well as a simpler alternative.
Will the watermark survive screenshots?
Yes, it becomes part of the pixels. That is the point: unlike metadata, a visible watermark cannot be stripped without editing the image.
