How winners are drawn

Entries are shuffled with the Fisher-Yates algorithm using the browser's cryptographic-quality random source, then the first N are taken as winners. Each entry has an equal chance, and the rolling animation is just for suspense: the result is decided by the shuffle.

Duplicates policy

By default, repeated names count as multiple entries (more chances, like raffle tickets). Switch to remove-duplicates for one-entry-per-person draws. Winners are always unique: nobody wins twice in one draw.

Giveaway Picker FAQs

Is the draw really random?
Yes. It uses Math.random with a Fisher-Yates shuffle, the standard fair-shuffle method. For legal-grade draws, use a witnessed process.
Can someone win twice?
No. Winners are drawn without replacement, so each person wins at most once per draw.
How do I prove fairness to participants?
Screen-record the draw. The animation plus the final list makes a simple audit trail.
What is the entry limit?
Thousands of entries work fine. Extremely long lists may take a moment to shuffle.
Are entries uploaded?
No. Names never leave your browser.
