How Unicode fonts work

These are not real fonts, they are special Unicode characters that look like styled letters: bold serif, script, double-struck, circled and more. Because the output is plain text, it pastes into Instagram bios, TikTok captions, X posts and WhatsApp with no app or install needed. If a character shows as a box, your device font simply does not include it.
