Three sources of domains

The tool pulls hostnames from full http and https URLs, the domain part of email addresses, and bare www mentions. Subdomains are kept, so blog.example.com and example.com list separately.

Clean output for analysis

Dedupe collapses repeats case-insensitively and sorting alphabetizes the list, giving you a clean unique domain inventory for audits, blocklists, or research.

Extract Domains FAQs

Does it extract domains from full URLs?
Yes. From https://blog.example.com/post/123 it extracts blog.example.com, dropping the protocol, path, and query string.
Does it handle email addresses?
Yes. From contact@shop.example.org it extracts shop.example.org, the domain part after the @ sign.
Are subdomains kept separate?
Yes. blog.example.com and shop.example.com are listed as distinct entries, which matters for DNS and security audits.
Does it strip www?
Yes. www.example.com is normalized to example.com so the same site is not listed twice under two forms.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing you paste ever leaves your device.
