Formula: Exact counting over all s^n outcomes. P(exact) = ways/total; P(at least) sums the tail.
Compute dice probabilities: the exact chance of a total with N dice, plus at-least odds.

The tool enumerates the full distribution by convolution: it builds up the ways to reach each total die by die. Two six-sided dice have 36 outcomes, and 6 of them sum to 7, so P(7) = 6/36 = 16.67%, the most likely total.
Games usually ask for at least a number: rolling 8+ on 2d6. The tool sums the tail of the distribution for this. Note the distribution is triangular for 2 dice and bell-shaped for more, never flat.
