Real CSV parsing

Naive tools break on quoted commas like "Paris, France"; this parser follows proper CSV rules, honoring quoted fields and escaped double-quotes. It also sniffs whether your file uses commas, semicolons, tabs or pipes, so European exports with semicolon delimiters just work.

Preview then convert

The first 20 rows render as a table so you can sanity-check the parse before converting. Copy everything as JSON keyed by your header row, switch to TSV for spreadsheet pasting, or download the JSON file directly.

CSV Tools FAQs

Why do my commas inside quotes break other tools?
Because they split on every comma. Proper CSV parsing treats quoted sections as single fields, which this tool does, so addresses and descriptions survive intact.
My file uses semicolons. Will it work?
Yes. The delimiter is auto-detected from the header row, covering commas, semicolons, tabs and pipes.
What happens to the header row?
The first row becomes the JSON keys. Empty headers get fallback names like col2 so no data is lost.
Is there a row limit?
No hard limit, though very large files (tens of thousands of rows) may take a moment. The preview shows the first 20 rows while conversions cover everything.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Parsing and conversion run entirely in your browser, which makes this safe for sensitive spreadsheets.
