The earnings formula

AdSense revenue is pageviews x click-through rate x cost per click. At 50,000 pageviews, a 1.5 percent CTR and a $0.35 CPC, that is 50,000 x 0.015 x 0.35 = $262.50 per month. Every input multiplies, so doubling any one of them doubles revenue.

Why scenarios matter more than a single number

CTR and CPC swing wildly by niche: finance clicks can pay $2 while entertainment pays $0.10. Showing conservative, expected and optimistic scenarios keeps the estimate honest instead of pretending one number fits every site.

AdSense Revenue Calc FAQs

What is a good AdSense CTR?
1 to 2 percent is typical for content sites. Above 3 percent is excellent and usually means strong ad placement; below 0.5 percent suggests ads are buried or the audience ignores them.
What is a good CPC?
It depends entirely on niche and country. Finance and insurance clicks can exceed $2, while general entertainment often sits under $0.15. US, UK and Canadian traffic pays 3 to 5 times more than most other regions.
How many pageviews do I need to earn $100 a month?
At a 1.5 percent CTR and $0.35 CPC, roughly 19,000 pageviews. With a $1 CPC the same $100 needs only about 6,700 pageviews, which is why niche choice matters more than raw traffic.
Does ad placement really change earnings?
Yes, dramatically. Ads above the fold and inside content typically double or triple the CTR of footer or sidebar-only placements, without needing a single extra visitor.
Why do my real earnings differ from the estimate?
Seasonality, invalid click filtering, ad blockers and smart pricing all move the real number. Treat the estimate as a planning baseline, then calibrate with 30 days of your own data.
